Catch us play our last public gig in the Hucknall area before we head out on the ‘Raise Your Voice Tour’. The event is raising funds for ‘Nongoma 2010′, a trip that will see among other, Ben, Adam and Tom heading to some of the most deprived parts of South Africa and working with vulnerable young people there.

‘Raise Your Voice’ Complete

The production of our Nottingham World Cup Anthem “Raise Your Voice” has finally been finished. The song features 15,000 Nottinghamshire School Children, Carl Froch, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Mansfield Town, Nottingham Rugby Club, Notts CC, Nottingham Panthers and Trent FM presenters Twiggy & Emma along with our usual line up; Phil Rostance, Ben Marshall, Nick Wright, Josh Boardman, Adam Cable, Tom Cable and Rhianne Poole.

The song is due for release in the last week of May and will be available for pre-order on our site within the next week!

All profits will go to support ‘Shine’ and Nottingham University’s Cystic Fibrosis Unit.

We will be performing the song live at Nottingham Arena on June 12th. Tickets can be purchased online at the arena website.

On behalf of all the band, a huge thanks to those who were part of Ladies Night. We’ve not got a final total yet but we’re confident that we’ve raised in excess of £2000 for Cancer Research. The venue was absolutely packed!! A complete Sell Out and we’re really sorry to those who were turned away on the door but we couldn’t let any more in for health and safety reasons.

It’s our absolute pleasure to announce that June 12th will see us treading the boards at the fantastic Trent FM, Nottingham Arena. Following in the steps of Queen & Paul Rodgers, The Killers, Oasis, Tina Turner and many other legends, we will be performing amongst other songs, our World Cup single release ‘Raise Your Voice’ before England’s opening World Cup fixture (USA) will be shown on a 72ft screen.

Tickets are now on sale for our ‘St George’s Day Special Gig’ at Hillside Primary School. Tickets are £5.00 for adults with concessions available. We’ll be joined by some very special guests and there’ll be one or two new tunes in the mix too!! We can’t wait!

“Raise Your Voice” World Cup Anthem – with Emma & Twiggy!!

We can confirm that work has begun on an exciting collaboration between Trent FM and The Marshall Band to produce a World Cup Anthem featuring Nottingham Forest. Notts County, Mansfield Town and Nottingham Panthers as well as 12,000 kids from across the county. The song, ‘Raise Your Voice’ has been written by Phil Rostance and Ben Marshall and will be recorded in the coming months and released on or around June 4th!!

“We’re really excited about the track. Me and Phil spent some time in the studio getting it down last week and went and tweaked it with Twiggy & Brainz last week. It should be a great laugh and it’ll be fantastic to get Nottingham uniting to raise money for two great causes” B MARSHALL

The song will raise funds for ‘Shine Foundation’ and another local charity yet to be confirmed.
